348 South Main Street The finance office handles the billing and collection for commercial solid waste and for occupancy taxes. We also handle payroll, expenses and human resource issues for county employees. All businesses are charged a commercial solid waste fee for the availability of the transfer facility. Bills are mailed usually by the 10th of each month for the preceding month. Home-based businesses are charged $5 per month. Weigh accounts are $5 plus weight each month, and businesses with offices outside the home are charged $16.67 per month. Payments may be mailed to this address or dropped off at the county building. Occupancy tax forms are mailed from our office to motels, inns, and other rentals and are to be returned by the 15th of the month for the preceding month.
